Quick properties has stopped working

AutoCAD LT2011

Quick properties has suddenly stopped working as normal. When the cursor hovers over some objects 2 small interlocking squares that look like the symbol for command for putting objects below other objects appears. When I left click the normal properties box appears along with another box titled 'Selection'  which then lists arc or line etc. How can I get rid of this?

That is called selection cycling. When it is on it indicates when there is more than one object available at the point of selection. A valuable tool when you know what it is and how to use it.

  • Cad64 changed the title to Quick properties has stopped working
  • 2 weeks later...

Thanks for that but I'd really like to remove it. Tried everything relating to selection with no success.
