ammobake
When you open CAD before opening a file, it is running locally only (on your computer) and writing the log file to the default location in your settings (I believe default is a temp folder). If you open a file on a server or mapped drive the log file is saved alongside the DWG for reference and easy access later on (in the same directory). This is easy to fix. The "automatic save file location" can be changed to whatever drive or path you choose in settings, files tab. Everytime the program autosaves it will save to that directory instead of all over the place. It is a good idea to set up a dedicated folder just for autosaves - on a separate drive, if possible. -ChriS
