can't import page setup from other DWGs for publish PDF

Hello,

 

I did this just a few days ago but now for some reason CAD doesn't let me import the page setup settings from other DWG when publishing?   After selecting the DWG from which I want to import the page setup,  I still see the  <default none > , nothing gets picked up.

I'm plotting from model space, I did this previously , i managed to import page setup.    

any input is welcome, thanks!

Hmmm not sure on that one.  A trick tho is if you change page setup in model space, it will ask if you want to apply to all sheets.  So you could technically set it up quickly for your drawing set once, Click yes and have all your sheets on the same page setup and CTB (if applicable). 

 

Then when you publish just tell it to use page setup in the drawing.

 

That or create a new named page setup in your drawing and apply it in the publish settings.

 

It could also have to do with your pre-set settings for DWG to PDF.

The file that you are importing from has to have a named page set-up saved in it.
