sandiegophil
Hello, I am using the dwg to pdf plotter. I have objects on proper layers The layers are set to plot I have configured the dwg to pdf to 'Include layer Information' When I plot I only get layer 0 in the pdf. Any help, suggestions and assistance is appreciated. Thanks, Phil

eldon
What version of AutoCAD are you using to make the pdf, and have you got proxy graphic enablers? My lowly version of AutoCAD shows the drawing consists of one ACAD_PROXY_ENTITY on layer 0.
sandiegophil
Hello, Update to original post, I did not provide enough information. I am using Civil 3D 2018. I have attached a drawing and pdf. I am seeing the layers for the drawn objects but the layers for the surface do not populate. Thanks, Phil pdf_layers.dwg pdf_layers-Model.pdf
SLW210
It comes in as an ACAD_PROXY_ENTITY here. The Layers work when plotted to PDF after exploding. I would think Civil3D you shouldn't have to do that. But, it is Autodesk, so.
sandiegophil
SLW210, Thanks for your input, I appreciate it. Yet another painfully inappropriate Autodesk side-effect.
