Skrejz
Hello, I'm looking for lisp which creates lines from coordinates and fillet them afterwards. I'm using total station to get coordinates to AutoCAD via program called TachyCAD. Basically I want to make outline plan of the room. Thanks in advance
eldon
How are you using TachyCAD? The Faro TachyCAD web site promises that the user leaves the site with a completed AutoCAD drawing.
Skrejz
I'm using version 9.0 in which outline module is not activated due to license, i'm trying to get it around with AutoCAD lisp.
eldon
What format is the total station capture data file in? and is the data coded so that points can be strung?
Skrejz
TachyCAD send direct coordinates into AutoCAD - for example if you want insert point - type autocads point command then measure point on total station. The same can be done for the line. It's like you type in coordinates by hand.
eldon
I am confused. You say that you can draw a line already with TachyCAD, so why do you need a lisp to draw a line? If you surveyed the corners, there would be no need for filleting to join the lines.
BIGAL
Like Eldon post a downloaded file if possible as a csv so we can look at it. What instrument do you have. You want stringing its out there commercially does a lot more than just join lines. https://www.civilsurveysolutions.com.au/index.php/software-solutions
