gotchy Posted July 27, 2019 Share Posted July 27, 2019 Will one of the fine Gurus here explain the difference to me between the PEDIT command and the JOIN command? I have used the PEDIT tool to form a polyline, and just recently I hear of the JOIN command. I cannot get the JOIN command to show up on the command line in version 2000, but it does so in version 2018. Is this a more recent tool than version 2000? Is this a more recent tool than version 2000? The JOIN command started in Autocad 2015 I believe. It has some nice features that Pedit > Join doesn't have, like combining line segments that are overlapping or that have gaps. It can also join arc segments and ellipse segments and close circles.
