Autocad Table Font Change?

Recommended Posts

I have a table and after jumping through a bunch of hoops (Autocad -> Excel -> Autocad) I got the table to take on the Windows ROMANS true type font.

They want it changed back to the Autocad RomanS.shx font.

Changing the font inside the STYLE command DOES NOT change the font inside the table.

MATCH CELL does not even allow you to select inside another cell so, that option is out.

What I have to do is double click inside a single cell, highlight the text and manually change the font via the Text Formatting dialog dropdown

Just picking inside the cell and changing the font via the Text Formatting dialog does not work.

I HAVE to highlight the text in order to change the font.

You can definitely tell the difference in the two fonts. SHX on the top

Not sure why Match Cell does not work in this instance.

If I create a new table and manually enter all the text, Match Cell works perfectly.

I have several hundred lines in my table with multiple columns.

Is there some workaround or routine that will expedite this process.

Please. Please, Please help!!

Just to eliminate the obvious, have you tried redefining the font in the table style? I tried that, and it worked for me.

If that's not it, change your table text style to some other style. Redefine the style you want, if you haven't already. Change the table text style back to the desired style. That should "reboot" the text definition.

If that's not it, can you post a drawing with the table?

I think once you've go a cross contamination SHX/TTF nothing inside Autocad seems to work.

Cannot post. Confidential type stuff.
