I drew an office chair starting with the seat from a side profile width (left right) and height (up down) then extruded (into the screen for say) for depth. When I try to load it into project it keeps wanting the put the side view normal to the floor. I want the chair to stand up not lay on its side. I have tried changing reference planes in family editor with no luck. I have tried numerous family templates (generic model, detail and profile). Any help would be greatly appreciated. bjenk8100 Posted August 5, 2019 Author Share Posted August 5, 2019 Nevermind, The answer to my question is simple. Make sure you are drafting in the correct view. In this case I was in a plan view.
