The answer to your question is fairly simple one of the selection methods is "fence" so the you could pick a circle. This is not quite right you then make a pline as a series of chords representing your circle, then get the co-ords of the pline then your text. I have a ARC 2 chords, need to add a circle , will need to look at tcount to see how selection is made may need Lee's help. Picking a start point may be feasible.
