Cad64 Posted November 29, 2019 Share Posted November 29, 2019 When you use the command BLOCK, Autocad expects you to specify a name. I don't know of any way to tell Autocad to assign a random name on its own. If you want to create blocks with random names, the easiest way would be to select a group of objects, Ctrl+C to copy and then Paste as Block, as you mentioned.
