Great video!

 

I have the 10th edition of Ramsey-Sleeper "Architectural Graphic Standards" from 2000. It came with interactive software that works just like the one you demonstrated. It references drawings, details and tables from the book. I haven't used it in a while but I don't think it is programmable.

Thanks for watching! The most puzzling aspect of FIMS is that the Archibus company works entirely in the realm of facility management, so when I first used this back in the 90’s, I could not figure out why the demo was about car parts rather than buildings, floors, and rooms.

Here is current Archibus-Autocad screen shot showing room data entry......

 

 

The rooms data is attached to a closed polyline on the "RM" layer. Other data such as building floor gross, department area, etc can also be stored on defined layers.
