whosa
Hi AutoCAD guru, I found a "bug" on the certain command of AutoCAD. When I try to Offsett-trim-extend lines far away from origin those commands don't work. I ask the Customer Services and they tell me this is a Limit od the software. The coordinates are big and the software doesn't work properly. I can't move the object near the origin and in Autocad is impossible to move the WCS. There is some LISP solution? @Lee Mac what do you think? Attached the TEST file. Thanks test.dwg Edited January 8, 2020 by whosa
Roy_043
Have you tried changing the PROJMODE setting?

Roy_043
I am using BricsCAD V18. In that software there only is an issue with _Trim and _Extend if PROJMODE is 0 (zero). And there is no issue with _Offset.

Roy_043
Yes (obviously). In this case BricsCAD seems to be more capable than AutoCAD. Edited January 9, 2020 by Roy_043
guran
Just move the UCS by typing "UCS" on the commandline and then "O" for origin.

You cannot move the WCS (0,0,0). You can move the UCS to face, object, view, etc. (temporary UCS) but all the math of the software is based on WCS.
