samifox
hi i have created a block with a field that should measure the Y level, but i realize that the field reading the internal block Y position rather than the world Y position. is there a way to measure the world UCS instead the block one? steven-g
If you use an attribute, and place your field in the default value, then when you select an object that you use to get the 'Y' coordinate from (I presume that is how you are getting 'Y' Then an extra tick box is available in the field dialogue 'Display value for block reference'. This will let the field read the value relative to the world. This option isn't available with just a standard field.
