Bill Tillman
We have a drawing that contains some PDF overlays. Some of the information in the Overlay is extraneous and not needed. We have made a wipeout to cover up the info but when it gets printed the boundary of the PDF shows up. The info is hidden but the box shapes are unwanted. We tried setting the color to some very light shades but no dice. Is there a way to set a wipeout so that none of it's shape shows up? Check your PDFFRAME setting and make sure it's set to 2. Also, make sure your Wipeout "Frames" setting is set to OFF.
Bill Tillman
Thanks CAD64. This is exactly what we're looking for. Everyone here is very new to the PDFOVERLAY's but we're slowly becoming experts. Oh, BTW, PDFOVERLAYS really suck and take up lots of memory and disk space. I've been busy showing the team how to use PDFIMPORT instead of PDFOVERLAY. There are certain architects/engineering firms who publish drawings where PDFIMPORT will not work but those that do work much better than PDFOVERLAY.
