ezra
I am having a problem moving the origin in a drawing to ordinate dimension it. I do have an outline that I made for the procedure, however I cannot get it to work. Will someone here please read my instructional outline and see where I went wrong with the sequence. I have enclosed a doc file for your view. Thank you, Ezra Ordinate Dimensioning .doc
BIGAL
A possible better way is UCS OB pick left hand corner, this will allow for an angled object not just a X & Y axis.
eldon
It would help to give guidance where you are going wrong if you could post an actual example drawing, and say what results you were getting. There are many instances of not getting what you want, for example what Object Snaps are you using?? Are you still using Autocad 2000? Is the new UCS rotated??? Why do you not want to see the UCS icon?
