amb2301 Posted November 6, 2020 Share Posted November 6, 2020 (edited) Hi Friends, i have created a new linetype with the text 144F on it, it looks fine in Model view & layout, but while plotting that file into pdf, the text inside that linetype getting blurred & not appearing properly, could someone help me to resolve this issue.symbol & line types.lin i have attached the required screenshots. tombu Posted November 6, 2020 Share Posted November 6, 2020 Lineweight is applied to shp fonts. I prefer using TrueType fonts in linetypes for that reason. Experiment some characters like underscores (and a few TrueType fonts) which appear as lines in TrueType fonts are often displayed with lineweight but shouldn't affect your example. You could simply change the lineweight if that's an option. Most users & offices have different opinions of what font is used for STANDARD text style. I'd only use text styles that identify the font like "Swiss Light" "Arial Narrow" or "Romans". You have to assign a font to a Text Style and then use the Text Style in the linetype.
