Linda J Posted November 11, 2020 Share Posted November 11, 2020 Hi my name is Linda, i still use the old Drafix .CAD drawing package. the other day I tried to change my symbol libaray and picked a corrupt one by accident. It shut down Drafix and now wont let me opening it back up. when i click on the icon it comes up with the following error message, CAD.EXE has stopped working A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. Usually i can reopen it and just not use that symbol file but now i cant access the program at all. BIGAL Posted November 13, 2020 Share Posted November 13, 2020 Does it have a desktop Icon if so look for the start up in Properties right click once you may be able to open it by changing a switch it may be as simple as starting template is now corrupt for Autocad the /p Myprofileetc to run a profile that is corrupt can screw it up.
