Need help with linking to specific excel cells

Hello, I need some help linking to specific cells in an excel spreadsheet.

I have a large list of mechanical services that I need to plot in to a table for each equipment, I want to make a generic table and link each cell to a specific cell in my excel file.

For example:

I drew this table in excel, the Cell A1, G1, A24 and F24 refer to the cells in my excel spreadsheet.

________________________

|_Cell A1___|_Cell G1___|

|_Cell A24__|__Cell F24_|

So when I update the spreadsheet, the table also updates automatically. Right now i can use Data Link, but it links the entire excel sheet, blank MEP tables etc., I just want specific cells.

Is this possible? I googled and saw something similar in the LISP forum but i don't even know how to begin to read LISP code.

Your profile says you have LT correct ? That may be a problem.

Oh, didn't see my profile.

My office just upgraded us to ACAD 2021 with new laptops. But even in 2014 LT, i was able to link excel sheets. Now, I just want to link to specific cells.

SLW210 your explanation was the same as mine but better described.

Why not click cell excel then Ctrl+C

Go to Autocad Alt+Ctrl+V hope I have enough fingers.

Oh.. there's multiple entries, steam/hot water/cold water/chilled water/gas/electricity/vacuum/air pressure etc. and there's roughly 60+ equipment.

I was hoping there's an easy way but copy pasting for so many entries... oh man..
