Woday Posted May 4, 2021 Share Posted May 4, 2021 Hi Team, I recently started my own business and one of my clients requests the CAD files, we are both using AutoCAD Lite 2021. I have made and us other dynamic blocks, when he opens my drawings on his computer the dynamic blocks do not work, they appear but do not function. Also, if he pulls a dynamic block from AutoCAD's factory tool palette they will not work either. Does he have a setting shut off somewhere? steven-g Posted May 4, 2021 Share Posted May 4, 2021 Can you post a copy of the block, other than something like in the link from @f700esthere are no settings to stop a dynamic block from working. Is your client perhaps inserting your drawing as an xref or inserting your drawing as a block itself (making a nested block) both those situations would make it appear as though your block doesn't work.
