Load Plugin (OBO-Construct) for Autocad in Ares Commander

Hello!

Im searching for a tool that makes it possible to draw cable trays and constructions in 3D to an dwg or ifc-Floorplan/Modell.

I found the OBO-Construct Plugin for AutoCAD and it would do anything Im searching for.

The problem is, that I prefer Ares Commander for electrical planning because of a block-database I made out of custom blocks, the ifc/BIM-handling and of course the license prize.

In the attached pdf there is a way of "porting"? AddIns for AutoCAD to Ares commander.

Has anyone used to make add-Ins or port AutoCAD plugins? Can you tell me if that works that way?

Friendly greets

Philipp

Unless you have source code say in .net you can not port one add on to say another product, an example is Bricscad supports .net but you use their library links. Above my pay grade.

Using plain lisp will run in a lot of the alternative cad programs out of the box, sometimes better, Bricscad supports VL on MAC now, Autocad does not.

3d objects are possible and there are various ways of creating. You need to provide some samples.
