the highlight order is all all off. how can i change it?

using 2009, previously in 2006 it would be able to highlight objects based on the latest object created. for instance if i were to use the solprof command on a 3d solid. it would highlight the solid rather than the profile. how can i change this so it highlights the newest object first.
