Mike.Richards Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 i have a drawing i inserted a picture on. (j peg) and after saving and opening up the file at a later time the picture is not there and it shows the file path of the picture. How do i get the picture to stay permanently? Quote
Amber D Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 I'm not sure why it won't stay, but I sometimes have this problem when working with older files, and the way I remedy it is: type IMAGE, enter choose the image that you're getting the file path for and click browse once you've found the image you want, make sure you SAVE the path (the button next to Browse). I've found that I can see the image in model space if I follow these steps without saving the path, but it won't be there if I close CAD and then re-open the file. Quote
rkmcswain Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 If the picture is not there, then AutoCAD cannot find it. Open the image manager and check the "saved" path to this image. Quote
