Completely Blank Screen on ALL Layouts and Modelspace

Has anyon ever experienced this problem?

 

I've been working on a drawing, and now for some obscure reason, nothing is showing in the "Drawing" area.

 

All toolbars accounted for.

All servicepacks installed.

 

I havent deleted the lot (Checked Command History)

 

All I've got is blackness.:?

Turn on the lights, take off the sunglasses and open your eyes.

 

You're sitting in front of the wrong monitor. Go back to YOUR desk.

 

And you tried a 'zoom extents' and nothing appeared?

And you checked Layer Manager and all layers are "on"?

I've had this a few times. It's usually something to do with graphics card issues; or even drawings received from (insert expletive) Architects

Odd thing when i closed ACAD an reopened it everything was there :?

Did you create a wipeout (with frame turned off) and place it over part (or the entire) drawing? Sort of a "play a stupid trick on myself" thing and forget you did it?

I have it happen to me, and only on drawings where I have used TTF. If I change the TTF to shx I never see the problem again. Others have said turning hardware acceleration off will fix it.
