Guest Milhouse Van Houten Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 AutoCAD 2008 question: How can I see what drawings an xref is referenced into? I would like to find out how many drawings/which drawings are referencing a particular file. Does anyone know how to get this information? Thx in advance! Quote

Thx in advance! 09 has the option in design center, but i can't remember if 08 does. anyway, you can specify xrefs in design center's search parameters. it will give you the results you need. i think lynn allen did a video tip on it. Peter K Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Short answer http://lynn.blogs.com/lynn_allens_blog/2009/01/an-autocad-hip-tip-on-reverse-searching-for-xrefs.html ( it works in 2008LT so it certainly should work in the full 2008 ) Longer answer... look at the bottom of this page to the top link 'How to determine what files an x-ref is referenced into.'
