Can inventor export to these file formats? I am working in a side/game project where a guy is making game models with inventor and we need a good conversion process. Any ideas? He is using .igs right now with hit-or-miss sucess. TIA :)

I do not have Inventor at home but I'm sure it will do that. I have ver 7 at school if you wait till Mon am GMT I can post a definitive answer then.

if you have 3ds max and inventor installed on the same computer, you can import assemblys and parts into 3ds max with the import command.
Tired it a while ago.. its very usefull when rendering more realistic things, like lights, reflective materials... etc etc
