smi32d75 Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 The plots will not fit on the desired page correctly at large scale i.e sheets over A3 ! The preview even displays incorrectly i.e portrait only. All I want to do is print a dwg in landscape but it keep only printing half the page (The white sheet is always portrait) but the information is landscape ! Help please Quote
Guest Alan Cullen Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 I have found PrimoPDF to be excellent. Download it, and try it. And I started using it for the exact same reasons you are talking about. Quote
chrisdarmanin Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 cutePDF is better http://www.cutepdf.com/ Quote
Skeeps Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 well whatever does the job, I use Cutepdf too. Tell us how you get on. Quote
Guest Alan Cullen Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Tried Cutepdf, didn't extend far enough out to our drawing sheet borders. Sorry, went through all of them, and found primoPDF the only one that would extend to our drawing sheet borders. Quote
smi32d75 Posted February 11, 2008 Author Posted February 11, 2008 We use the full version of acrobat but this issue only crops up now and again on certain drawings ! Sometimes you can print A0 landscape but this particular dwg for example does not display correctly. i.e if you make it portrait in then displays landscape but still cuts off half the page. Quote
rkmcswain Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 We used to have that problem occasionally, we switched to Acroplot and everything is good now... Quote
CADken Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 are you making sure to plot extents? and then selecting "fit to page" and "center drawing"? we usually do this so that everything fits onto the page (altho it will not be to scale).... take a screenshot of your "plot" window. Quote
smi32d75 Posted April 15, 2011 Author Posted April 15, 2011 I am still having issues with PDFing to Primo PDF. A lot of the large default pages are portrait and not landscape. I simply want to modify and save the default A2 paper size, but cant not save it. It only allows a temporary PC3 save. A colleague has saved an A3 and A1 for me but I do not know how it was done. They are saved in the 'Paper size' drop down section opposed to the page set up section. PLEASE HELP.... Quote
