Marky_Sparky Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 Hey all, I have designed a cam for a camshaft using MatLab (matrix Laboratory - an engineering programming program) and i had it spit out all the x,y coordinates in a .txt file (i could also have it spit out the points in polar coordinates) and i was wondering if there was an easy way for AutoCAD to read in these points. I am going to have the shop make just the cam and would like to supply them with a cad drawing. Thanks MT Quote
Rusel Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 We have previously prepared a software for that, that does what exactly you need. It gets the values from a excel file, and draws the cam in seconds. Our customer is one of the biggest camshaft manufacturers and use this soft during the manufacture process. ahsensoft.com/content/view/35/59/ Quote
