spursnutter Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 How do you cange the rotation of text? Every time I wan to right text the angle of it is 270 degrees but I want it to be normal. Quote
LCE Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 So when you start an mtext command on screen, and select your location, is it automatically drawing it at 270 and not horizontal on screen? Are you in world UCS or a custom ucs? You can always just select all the text, open the properties palette and enter 0 in the rotation from there... Quote
spursnutter Posted April 24, 2008 Author Posted April 24, 2008 I am in world UCS and yes it is doing it automatically. I know I can rotate the text once i have typed it but everytime I start a new single or multiline it goes back to 270 degrees which is very annoying. Quote
LCE Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 start the mtext command, click the first point, then enter R for rotation, check that it is set to 0 in there. Quote
LCE Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 1 more, very unlikely, but been known to be done, are you using the command line to type the command, or clicking the button? Is there a chance someone may have messed with your buttons as a prank? Quote
spursnutter Posted April 24, 2008 Author Posted April 24, 2008 I am using a drawing that someone else created so it has been done on purpose but I just can't figure out as how the hell he done it and I can't get hold of him. Maybe I will just copy and paste it into another drawing and do it that way. Quote
SLW210 Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 In the text style dialog box, just uncheck "Vertical". Quote
LCE Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 That would stack the text though SLW, not apply a rotation of 270... Quote
SLW210 Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 That would stack the text though SLW, not apply a rotation of 270... Ah, I see now after reading everything again. It is rotated, not just vertical. Quote

dusko Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 start the mtext command, click the first point, then enter R for rotation, check that it is set to 0 in there. rotation angle in my case is 0. ucs is world. further i am lost. Quote
Dipali Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 check format>units>directions (in the bottom line of dialoguebox) it will pop up another dialogue box showing base angle. try altering that setting. Quote
