Guest Dr.Syn Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 to get my @ symbol I have to press " (shift 2), I only get the ' symbol if I press the marked key. It was OK, any ideas what has happened? I checked the windows keyboard language and even tried swopping from English British, to USA. Quote
hyposmurf Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 That problem used to happen when I had my kekbaord set up for USA.It should happen when you are using the english setting. That is weird, where did you reset the language? Quote
Guest Dr.Syn Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 I set language in Windows, You've just made me think, do I set it in AutoCad, I'll look next time I'm on. Quote
Guest Dr.Syn Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 Thanks, I had changed it in Windows but apparantley I needed to reboot before it took effect, as when I went in this morning all's OK Quote

Tankman Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Nice! Its good when its something that simple. Excellent result! I get confused (memory lapse) on my laptop when using alt + keys for symbols. I usually forget to set the number lock key on for symbols for using alt + keys; i.e.: alt+248 = ° (degree), alt+0216 = Ø (diameter), alt+0177 = ± (plus or minus), etc. Gettin' old, 62, I guess.
