Rendering in Architecture 2008?

Question... I applied some materials to a Roof in AutoCAD Architecture, but when I go to Render the scene it doesn't show the materials? But I tried on a normal Solid that I drew and it came up fine. Is there some setting that I have to turn on, or do Materials not show up on the 3D objects associated with the AutoCAD Architecture Tool Palettes?
