When I Make Any Shape With Pline And Use The Command Planarsurface Then Click Inside That Shape The Area Inside Shape Divided Into Shapes Like 3dmeshes But Not Like 3dmesh In Its Properties .

My Question Is How Can I Make Planarsurface Make 3dmesh?

I Want 3dmesh Because I Want To Import It In Sap2000(structural Program) Which Need 3dmesh To Analyes And It Not Accept Planarsurface

What other file types will Sap2000 import. ACIS (*.sat) STEP or IGES?

1- SAP2000 MS-ACCESS DATABASE .mbd FILES

2- SAP2000 MS-EXCEL SPREADSHEET .xls FILES

3- SAP2000 V8 OR V9 .s2k TEXT FILE

4- SAP 90 TEXT FILE

5- CIS/2 STEP FILE

6- AUTOCAD.DXF FILE

7- FRAMEWORKS PLUS FILE

8- IGES .igs FILE

9- NASTRAN .dat FILE

10- MODIFY STRUDL SECTION CUTS

11- PROSTEEL EXCHANGE DATABASE FILE

The only thing I can suggest is Autodesk Inventor Series.

In the MDT module of AIS you can convert the AutoCAD surfaces.

 

MDT or Inventor will output IGES or STEP.

 

Actually you might be able to use the free Inventor LT (http://labs.autodesk.com) to open the file and save to IGES or STEP and try that in your other software.
