KROB1234 Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 I used to work at a firm that used a dockbar. It displays all the drawings you have open on the top of the screen...where you have your toolbar commands. Does anyone know what I am talking about? Anyways I didnt know how awesome it was until I no longer have it. I now work at a place where I have to go to the window pull down every time I want to switch to a new drawing. Does anyone have any cool ways to develop a dockbar or other short cut commands to open the other drawings? Thank you:? Quote

tzframpton Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Hi SkyWill this work with Ver 2009? I don't want to stuff up anything. Dodge Give it a shot. I don't think it actually installs a program to your hard drive, it only copies needed files to the Program Files directory and makes AutoCAD point to it under the Search Paths. Should work perfectly fine. Quote
Strix Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 there's a variable you can set which brings up the tabs for each drawing at the bottom of the screen now if I could just remember what that is what do you get if you type TASKBAR at the command line? Quote
smorales02 Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 you should just have to right click on one of the tabs and bring up the options, and you will be able to move them to the bottom of the screen. Quote
