Hi all

i installed autocad 2009 on my 64 bit windows
i have installed dot net fx 3.0 and also visual C++ 2005 and latest version of direct x. after that i installed acad 2009
it installed fine
but when i launch the application i am getting this error.

"FATAL ERROR- The security sysetm(softlock license manager) is not functioning or is not properly installled."

can anyone help me fix this?

no they dont

i installed dot net fx 3.0 , direct x latest and visula c++ 2005 latest
i had installed it before around a month back but its not installing now

the best thing to do is delete it, uninstall then do a system restore then reinstall it

so what was the fix for this issue?
I have the same problem and am having no luck finding a solution.

I found an article on the AutoDesk website that references the error message having to do with the Softlock License Manager not functioning or being improperly installed. However it was in regards to AutoCAD 2000 and not a later release. Maybe the info contained within is of some value.
