US versions of AutoCAD in the UK

Hello all,

This is probably a stupid question, but one I can't find the answer to after hours searching the net.

"Would a copy of AutoCAD 2009 LT, purchased from the states, work here in the UK ?"

Judging from the price differences I think I already know the answer, but just wanted to get a definitive answer.

we have covered this recently. Basically, yes it will work but it will break AutoDesks licencing policy.
