Viewing problem

Hello

Each time i view my model with the standard orthographic and isometic views it zooms very far out and then i have to zoom back in again which can be time consuming.

Its probably simple but its got me for a while now.:glare:

is there something there shouldn't be waaaaaaaaay outside your drawing area?

are you drawing with xrefs?

When you switch orthographic views in your viewports, Max automatically resets the view to 0,0,0. If your model is not located at this position, it will appear zoomed out. Just click the little "Zoom Extents All" button in the lower right corner of your screen.

I don't know of any way to modify this behavior. :unsure:

Yes i was using a large underlay scanned drawing that i completely forgot about. This was on xref and removed through layer management. Just deleted the the xref and that did it. Cheers guys
