quasifun Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 How would I go about making a template that only saves as a v2000DWG? I have a drawing that I open up as a "kinda" template. I have to rename it with the correct project number but it defaults to a 2007 DWG. I need it to save ONLY as a 2000 DWG (preferably by default). What settings need to be changed? Thanks in advance for your help. Quote
Tiger Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Options - Open and Save - "File Save", "Save as" and set it to AutoCAD 2000. Quote
ReMark Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 In the event you wanted to make the change permanent click on Tools > Options > Open and Save tab, under File Save where it says "Save as:" use the arrow to scroll through the options specific to the version of AutoCAD you are using. Make your selection then click the OK button at the bottom of the dialog window. Quote
quasifun Posted September 5, 2008 Author Posted September 5, 2008 I have looked for that setting for a month. Thanks for pointing me to it. Quote
