ReMark Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 It was jonesy. Use the search feature above and type in the words wacom tablet. The thread you're looking for should be in the top five. Quote
jonesy Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 Yes, it was me. I am the proud owner of a wacom bamboo. I really enjoy using it, tho some functions take a little getting used to (copy/paste is my main issue) Mines an a5 wide version. I wouldnt want to go bigger, purely because I dont want to move my arm extensively. With the a5 version, you can do everything without having to move your hands too much. The pen fits snugly in your hand so you can hold it even when typing. Its certainly different to using a mouse, but in my case it has the advantage of keeping other users off my puter when I'm not there For some things in cad, I swear I'm quicker than I used to be If you want to know anything else, please feel free to ask Quote
ReMark Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 Is it true what they say? If you take two tablets in the morning you'll feel better? Quote

skipsophrenic Posted September 5, 2008 Author Posted September 5, 2008 If you want to know anything else, please feel free to ask Do you have to get the tablets with all the included "bonus" software or can you just get it as a standalone product? Quote
jonesy Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 Do you have to get the tablets with all the included "bonus" software or can you just get it as a standalone product? I have the tablet, but no software. ( I dont know whether any extra software came with it because it arrived and was installed by our IT dept when I was off work) Quote

(non of which support dwg's so can't use them for renders.) Quote
ReMark Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 There are two versions of the tablet. They are the Bamboo and the Bamboo Fun. Each comes with an installation CD that has the appropriate drivers and user manual on it. The Bamboo Fun also comes with a DVD that includes Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0, Corel Painter Essentials 3.0 and Nik Color Efex Pro 2.0. Drivers can also be downloaded from the Wacom website. Quote
