ncmcdonnell Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Hello, I have not used AutoCAD in years and just recently downloaded the 2009 trial. I have been tasked at my new job to edit AutoCAD drawings. My problem is that the office staff here have uploaded .dwg drawings onto our website, but I have no clue how to open them into autoCAD. I have saved to target and the file will only save to html and will not open in autoCAD. A client of ours called and said she also had this problem, but my boss said our clients have always been able to open these files from our website as .dwg's. Does anyone have experience with this? Dipali Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Normally you have to download it 7 work on it locally & than upload it back. I don't think you can work on it online. try download option if it is available. check if you have option to save in local drive option Quote
ncmcdonnell Posted September 11, 2008 Author Posted September 11, 2008 I have a copy on my hard drive - I need to make sure others can access it from our website and it can not be saved to file, only as html Quote
Lazer Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 (I have changed the title of your thread, your title had nothing to do with the question your asking, by changing it will help those in the future who search for an answer to the same problem hopefully find an answer) Quote
