Archaeological Mapper Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 My first thread so go easy on me (although I've been visiting the site for ages. The problem is this: I imported 3D points from a "txt" file through the Civil "Import Points" menu and ended up with a Point Group. My problem is that I want to change the font size and point style (say from "x" to "crosshairs") but I cannot do anything. If I explode them they turn first into blocks and then into constituant lines and MText. Is there any solution or will a different import method fare me better? The data was originally from Excel (I then made it a "csv", then opened in notepad). Cheers PS. I'm using AutoCAD Map 3D 2005 (for my sins). PPS. Stay away from Raster Design 2005. It screws up one's ability to bind XREFs. Quote
BOB'27T Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 Right click on the point and select "point group properties". When the window comes up, go to label styles then select the drop down arrow next to the pencil. Quote
Archaeological Mapper Posted September 16, 2008 Author Posted September 16, 2008 And then "edit current selection". Brilliant! Got it. Thankyou very much. Quote
