i have purchased inventor 2009 and am considering buying a cd called "inventor" by james a. sinclair which covers thru inventor 10.....question is, will the instructions be close enough between the (2) releases to start familiarizing myself with inventor 2009?????? any info would be appreciated..........

That cd will be fine, a few things have been added but the general modeling methods are the same.

thank you for your input.....it's difficult to select tutorials....they vary anywhere from $50 to $500 and every one is supposed to be the best.....i'm going to try this cd as a starting point.......thanks again

i learned inventor10 just by using the preloaded help/tutorials. may be worth your time. Also i know Autodesk had some nice tutorials on their website for their other softwares, may be worth a look
