Trouble Invoking Commands

Hi, I am a self taught AutoCAD user and am a typer/mouser. I am using AutoCAD 2008 and I have inadvertantly changed a setting that I would like to change back. I used to be able to select an object, then type M enter and I could move that object. Now I have to type M enter first and then select the object to be moved. This change is also preventing me from double clicking on Mtext to edit it. Help!

NOUN/VERB SELECTION....type OPTIONS, go to selection tab, click noun/verb selections

sorry....easier way to go about it is to type PICKFIRST..then 1 as your variable.

If that doesn't work, check to see if PICKFIRST is set to "1" Oops, you beat me to it!!
