I have a DB that uses an array action that is linked to a stretch action (through chaining). I need to automate adding a quantity of the arrayed objects (in this case, a hex nut) into a block of text nested inside of the block based on the number of times said object is arrayed. In other words, let's say I have an object that is 18' tall and requires 16 hex nuts. When I stretch the object the appropriate amount of hex nuts are arrayed, but I need to reference that amount in a note that is also part of the block. Also, if I need to change the height of the object and consequently increase/reduce the number of hex nuts, I need the note to update with the correct amount.

Can it be done (simply). I'm not a VBA person so I wouldn't know what to do with a string of code.
