I would have expected the result in number 2 to be the same as number 1 (see drawing). I used the auto option for the break. Dim Break.dwg Quote

Thanks for your reply mugshot. I actually didn't want to extend the extension lines beyond the ticks or make the gap shorter. I was just wondering why the same command works differently just because it's ticks. The break in 2. seems incorrect to me - unless I'm missing something.... Quote
