Layers Aren't Draping?

Hi all. New to Map 3D so need some help. I'm trying to drape a series of MIF files over the top of this landscape, however it doesn't seem to be working. In help it says that for draping to occur the layer to drape must be above the layer to be draped on to in Draw Order. However these vectors don't appear to be on any layer at all? Am I missing something?

I brought in the MIF/MID files via the 'Create DWG from...' ---> 'Map 3D Import' Was that the correct method?

Any help would really be appreciated! Thanks
