darris07 Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 my professor insists that i set drawing limits and center my drawing within the limits. he never quite explained how to do this and he wants me to find out on my own. how can this be done? Quote
hotrodz0321 Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 what are you drawing and what are your drawing limits? are you able to find the center of your limits? you could draw a line from your min to your max limits and the center would be the midpoint of that line. depending on what you are drawing, find the center of your drawing and move it to the center of the limits you found earlier..... lpseifert Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 Turn Grid on. it shows the limits or type Limmin, it will return LL corner of Limits Limmax will return UR corner Draw a line from LL to UR, center your drawing at the midpoint p.s. this will probably be the last time you ever use limits.
