I'm drawing in 2d and I'm dim. from left to right and i come to my 4" wall and i want to dim. to the center of that wall, how do i get the dim. to offset 2" to be in the center of that 4" wall? rkent Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 when you are ready to pick the center of the wall thickness hold shift down and hit the right mouse button, pick mid between two points, now using osnaps pick the two lines that represent the wall, autocad will calculate the mid point between the two.
