TFish Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 Good Morning. Using 2007. I've never had this issue before, so I'm confused: Creating construction drawings of a framed wall. Interior ribs with .25" thick skins. When I apply dimensions and attempt to hide, the ribs show. Take the dims off and it hides fine. Any clues? This only happens when looking at the piece from the front. A SW view, etc. hides fine. Quote
TFish Posted November 3, 2008 Author Posted November 3, 2008 Here's the actual piece to the drawing. The first is hidden without dimensions and it appears correct. Then, added dims and hidden again. Let me know what you think. 1.pdf 2.pdf Quote
papagyi Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Do you create your model 2d or 3d to apply dimension?Pls check your some layer would be hidden with off.Coz off layer can be obstruct when hidden behind them. Quote
TFish Posted November 3, 2008 Author Posted November 3, 2008 We build almost everything in 3D. We did check all the layers and everything is turned on and unfrozen. If we add the dimensions, view it in perspective and then hide, it works fine. Quote
papagyi Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 I checked with new drawing like that your dwg. This is fine for all view with hide.Pls copy to new drawing and check it.If not ,can you post your dwg? Quote
TFish Posted November 3, 2008 Author Posted November 3, 2008 I moved a front corner to 0,0,0 and now it works fine. Thanks for your help on this. Quote
