NoelStalker Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 Hello all, I was wondering if there is a font in AutoCAD where all of the characters have the same spacing. I want to copy and paste some stuff from notepad into an MTEXT and have the spacing in each line of text be inline with the spacing of the line above and below it. Thanks. Quote
lpseifert Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 Monotxt.shx, Monotxt8.shx, Msimplex.shx come to mind Quote

NoelStalker Posted December 11, 2008 Author Posted December 11, 2008 I'm using ACAD2000 now and the monotxt family of fonts is not showing up. Is there another uni-spaced font style? Quote
lpseifert Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Copy them from the other computer to the one you're using. Quote
NoelStalker Posted December 11, 2008 Author Posted December 11, 2008 I tried copying and pasting the text from one drawing to another. It shows up in the original drawing as proxy 2 something. It does not bring it into the new drawing. The new drawing has a proxy 1 font but it is not what I want Quote
Ritch7 Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 monotxt .shx i would say is the best you're after? Quote
lpseifert Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 I meant copy the .shx files from acad's font directory to the 2000 font directory. Quote
