amz27 Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 hi i'm new to this site, iv recently learnt autocad (2000) and i dont know what happened today, but i changed the linetype and a fatal error appeared, and everytime i went into this file and pressed linetype this meesage appeared and would close the entire program. i deleted this program and thats okay now, but ever since then all of the text in my drawings prints out as just the outline of the letters, and is unfilled. it appears fine on the drawing and iv tripled checked the text style, etc etc but alas this keeps happening. can anyone help?hope iv made sense, iv only just learnt autocad so forgive me if this is confusing! thanks, amy Quote
ReMark Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 Welcome to CADTutor Amy. Let's see what we can do for you. Please check the system variable Textfill. It should be set to . Check it by typing the variable name on the command line then press Enter. AutoCAD should respond with: Enter new value for TEXTFILL : It sounds like you are using a Truetype font. AutoCAD Help says this: Textfill Controls the filling of TrueType fonts while plotting and rendering. 0 Displays text as outlines. 1 Displays text as filled images. Let us know if the problem is solved. Quote
