rustysilo Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Is there a way to find out what object or style in a .dwg causes it to look for a particular shape file? Somehow a shape file that we obviously don't use has found its way into our template and I can't figure out what in the template needs it... Quote

rustysilo Posted November 11, 2008 Author Posted November 11, 2008 Thanks McSwain. You rock. Funny thing is, it's the linetype I thought it was in the beginning. I guess after I purged that linetype I didn't go back to purge the shape file expecting it to go away after purging said linetype. I never use shape files in my own linetypes. As a matter of fact I have never really used them at all except what might be preloaded or what I gather from other folks on the net. Thus my experience with them is very limited. An oldie like myself oughta know more about such a basic concept with acad. Quote
